Types of schools.
Kindergarten or preschool is for children ages 2 to 6, and class sizes range from 4 to 20 students and are easy to manage. English teachers work during the day on weekdays and earn 12,000 to 28,000 yuan ( $1,640 to $3,800 ).
Public school, public school is commonly used to refer to China's government run primary, middle and high schools, as well as government-run universities. Public school usually have very large class sizes and follow a traditional schedule from 8 am to 4 pm. Monday through Friday. One of the biggest benefits of teaching in public schools is the setting of courses. Teachers are assigned their own teaching assistants, which, coupled with pre-set courses, makes teaching in public schools very easy for a new English teacher.

Working hours are usually during the day on weekdays. Most international schools require a 40-hour work week, while other types of schools may require only 16 or 20 hours. English teachers usually get free accommodation with generous benefits and a monthly salary of 15,000 to 30,000 yuan ($2143 to $4285). A recent health check report.
Your employer will require you to provide these documents to apply for your work permit in China. After approval, they will send you a work permit and an official invitation letter.
The next step is visit the visa center of the Chinese consulate or embassy in the country.

Visa application and health check - up need to pay some fees and be prepared.
Visa processing usually takes a week or ten days. Once you receive the Z visa, your journey to teach English in China begins. Please be sure to bring all your original documents to China. You will need them in future.
After arriving in China, you need to register at the local police station and collect (temporary registrationform). Your employer will help you complete this step again.
In addition to household registration, you also need to have a phyysical examination at the designated medical institution in the city where you plan to teach.
Residence permit
After you obtain the Temporary Residence Registration Form and the medical examination certificate, your employer will submit them to the local immigration office to help you apply for a residence permit. They also need to submit your original acquisition.
The originals of all documents provided by Z visa and their own other documents, such as their business license or school license.
Be careful not to leave mainland China while waiting for a residence permit. If you do this, you will not be able to re-enter without having to start the whole visa process over.
Obtain a residence permit
Once you get a residence permit. Your Z visa has been canceled. You can use your multiple-entry residence permit now.
Feel free to enter and leave China until a short time after the end of your teaching contract.
Important Tips: It is important to maintain a good relationship with your Chinese employer. If you intend to stay in China and eventually change your employer, you need a letter from your previous employer to prove that you have worked for them. If you leave before the contract expires, your job will be terminated. Without this letter, you will not be able to get anothrr visa, which means that you will not be able to legally work for other employers in China.
